Media Planner/Buyer (Ref: 800MPB240915T)

Position Summary:

Coupons, Inc TV, a Coupons, Inc company, is looking for a Media Planner/Buyer to join our TV Marketing team working at our field office in Avon, CT. The Media Planner/Buyer is specifically responsible for identifying and executing written agreements with cost-effective, scalable and targeted sources of TV media than can provide qualified and profitable traffic to our web brands. In addition, the Media planner/Buyer is also responsible for insuring that sources post and maintain the minimum acceptable metrics/goals. 
Timeliness, attention to detail, analytics and accuracy are critical to this position. This individual must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to focus on short-term objectives and long term growth opportunities.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze TV media buys to meet our volume, CPA and ROI goals.
  • Prospect new opportunities with current or new TV media outlets.
  • Participate in negotiating deals in spot, cable and network TV media.
  • Execute, analyze and optimize TV acquisition campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign ROI.
  • Optimize placement and targeting of TV media buys using internal ROI measurement system.
  • Administer monthly media plan.

Requirements: 
  • 3+ years of proven successful media buying history.
  • 2+ years experience working for e-tailer/dot.com or direct response experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with TV media buys and CPA analysis.
  • Managed advertising budget of at least $1M.
  • Comfort level with using technology in marketing, including databases, project management software, web tools, etc.
  • Knowledge of basic statistics helpful.
  • Proficient in use of Strata planning and posting tools.
  • Experience managing electronic invoice data such.
  • Experience with BVS, Sigma or CMR data helpful.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint helpful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
