Legal:
Paralegal (Ref: 620PAR221002)

Position Summary:

As Paralegal in a dynamic role, you'll serve as a key member of a close knit legal team at Coupons.com Incorporated and report to the General Counsel. You will work with in-house attorneys and paralegals to assist in various areas, including with the review, negotiation, organization and management of agreements and other projects as needed. With the ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve objectives under deadlines, you'll work closely and intensely with both internal clients and external business partners. An individual with a strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of a wide range of projects and resolving issues proactively will thrive in this role. Proven experience within a fast-paced technology company, preferably in the online media industry, is highly desired.
 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Support in-house attorneys in various areas including corporate, licensing, IP and other projects as needed.
  • Effectively communicate legal review processes with internal clients.
  • Track and review a variety of agreements on a daily basis.
  • Interpret contracts and monitor fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Serve as a contract negotiator with a variety of business partners.
  • Assist clients in articulating and obtaining approvals for contract changes.
  • Support the continuous improvement of form agreements and legal and approval processes.

Position Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation and drafting experience
  • Ability to quickly assess information, anticipate issues, and make recommendations to in-house counsel.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Paralegal experience in a law firm or within an in-house legal department preferred.
  • A sense of humor.
