Web Tools Development Engineer (Ref: 200WTD211021)

Position Summary:

As a key member of Coupons, Inc. development team, you will design and build the tools used by both internal (Coupons Inc) users and outside partners. You will work closely with product management as well as the tool user base to understand user needs and technical constraints. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and be able to interact directly and effectively with end users.

Position Responsibilities:

Understand requirements in order to design solutions that deliver value to our customers (both internal and external).
Manage competing priorities in a demanding production environment.
Actively participate in high level engineering team activities such as defining architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations.
Work collaboratively with other stakeholders both inside and outside engineering.

Position Qualifications:

BS in CS (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of hands-on software design and development experience.
Keen ability to understand end user experience and business needs.
Strong hands on skills in Microsoft server side web technologies- ASP.Net, C#/VB.Net, and MSSQL (schema design and stored procedure coding).
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSL).
Data analysis and reporting experience a big plus.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strongly prefer candidates who have internet and/or start-up company experience.
